Uit twee rechthoekige blokken samengesteld complex, gebouwd 1929 naar ontwerp van L.C. van der Vlugt als administratiekantoor en bibliotheek van de Theosofische Vereniging, in Nieuw-Zakelijke stijl. Later gedeeltelijk verbouwd ten behoeve van woningen. Uitgevoerd in beton, volledig gepleisterd. Het linkergedeelte ligt achterwaarts ten opzichte van de rooilijn en bevat twee bouwlagen; de lange zijgevel is opgetrokken bij wijze van borstwering en bevat op de verdieping een horizontale strook vensters, en beneden twee reeksen vensters; in de korte zijde aan de straat een ingangsportiek. deels van rode tegels voorzien; het geheel plat afgedekt en afgesloten met een open hekwerk. Het rechtergedeelte bevat drie bouwlagen. met op de verdiepingen eveneens gekoppelde vensterstroken over vrijwel de gehele gevelbreedte (de doorgaande vensters op de begane grond zijn gewijzigd). De vlakke voorgevel bevat rechts een lichte uitstulping over de volle hoogte. In de top van de linkerzijgevel eveneens gekoppelde vensters, onderbroken door de schoorsteen. Het geheel plat afgedekt.

Description
Complex composed of two rectangular blocks, built in 1929 after a design by L.C. van der Vlugt as an administrative office and library of the Theosophical Society, in the New Objectivity style. Later partially rebuilt for residential purposes. Executed in concrete, fully rendered. The left section is set back from the building line and contains two storeys; the long side facade is constructed in the manner of a parapet wall and contains on the upper floor a horizontal strip of windows, and below two series of windows; in the short side facing the street an entrance portico, partly provided with red tiles; the whole topped with a flat roof and finished with an open railing. The right section contains three storeys, with coupled window strips on the upper floors spanning almost the entire facade width (the continuous windows on the ground floor have been modified). The flat front facade contains on the right a slight projection over the full height. In the top of the left side facade likewise coupled windows, interrupted by the chimney. The whole topped with a flat roof.
