WERKPLAATS/STAL behorende tot de buitenplaats Oostermeer. Achter de formele tuin, op de overgang naar het landschappelijke parkbosje en de speelweide, staat een rood bakstenen werkplaats/stal. Het gebouw heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een kapverdieping onder een met gesmoorde oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak. Voor- en achtergevel zijn uitgevoerd als tuitgevels. In de voorgevel centraal een eenvoudige toegangsdeur met daarboven een hooiluik. De linker zijgevel is blind. Tegen de rechter zijgevel is een moderne houten aanbouw onder lessenaarsdak geplaatst, waarvan de voorzijde open is. Tegen de achtergevel zijn links en rechts op spiegelbeeldige wijze toilethokjes onder een lessenaarsdakje gemetseld, die van buitenaf middels een eenvoudige deur toegankelijk zijn. Tussen deze aanbouwtjes een dubbel venster, daarboven, ter hoogte van de kap een eenvoudig vierkant venster. De werkplaats/stal dateert uit de tweede helft van de 18de of de eerste decennia van de 19de eeuw. Op het kadastrale minuutplan is het gebouw al aanwezig.

Description
WORKSHOP/STABLE belonging to the country estate Oostermeer. Behind the formal garden, at the transition to the landscape park woodland and the play meadow, stands a red brick workshop/stable. The building has a rectangular floor plan and consists of one storey and an attic storey under a saddle roof covered with perished old-Dutch tiles. Front and rear gables are executed as spout gables. In the front gable centrally a simple access door with above it a hay loft door. The left side gable is blind. Against the right side gable a modern wooden extension under a lean-to roof has been placed, of which the front is open. Against the rear gable on either side in mirror-image fashion toilet cubicles under a small lean-to roof have been masonry, which are accessible from outside by means of a simple door. Between these extensions a double window, above it, at the level of the roof truss structure a simple square window. The workshop/stable dates from the second half of the 18th or the first decades of the 19th century. The building is already present on the cadastral minute plan.
