TOEGANGSBRUG met KEER- EN KADEMUREN met BALUSTRADE behorende tot de buitenplaats Oostermeer. Het voorplein is vanaf de Amsteldijk bereikbaar via een rood bakstenen brug in de as van het huis. De brug is voorzien van gebogen bakstenen keer- en kademuren, die worden afgesloten door een iets overstekende afdeklijst. Deze is deels in baksteen met hardstenen sluitstenen (langs het water) en deels geheel in hardsteen (ter hoogte van de overkluizing) uitgevoerd. De brug is voorzien van een eenvoudige smeedijzeren balustrade met smalle balustervormige staanders en een dubbele regel. Brug, keer- en kademuren dateren uit de bouwtijd, omstreeks 1728. De balustrade is waarschijnlijk 19de eeuw.

Description
ACCESS BRIDGE with RETAINING AND QUAY WALLS with BALUSTRADE belonging to the country estate Oostermeer. The forecourt is accessible from the Amsteldijk via a red brick bridge aligned with the house. The bridge is provided with curved brick retaining and quay walls, which are closed off by a slightly projecting coping. This is executed partly in brick with hardstone copingstones (along the water) and partly entirely in hardstone (at the level of the culvert). The bridge is provided with a simple wrought iron balustrade with narrow balusters and a double rail. Bridge, retaining and quay walls date from the construction period, around 1728. The balustrade is probably from the 19th century.
