Omschrijving
LINKER BOUWHUIS behorende tot de buitenplaats Oostermeer. Ter weerszijden van het hoofdgebouw staan op symmetrische wijze rood bakstenen bouwhuizen met een L-vormige plattegrond. Het langgerekte bouwdeel staat evenwijdig aan de straat, de korte poot van de L steekt naar voren. De gebouwen bestaan uit één bouwlaag en een zolderverdieping onder een schilddak, dat is gedekt met gesmoorde Oud-Hollandse pannen. Er staan drie schoorstenen op waarvan twee op de nokeinden. De gevels worden aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een eenvoudige gootlijst en zijn voorzien van een hardstenen plint. In het langgerekte deel bevindt zich centraal de voordeur met meerruitsbovenlicht, voorafgegaan door een stoep van vijf treden. Links en rechts van de entreepartij een meerruitsschuifvenster. In de kopgevel van de korte poot eveneens een meerruitsschuifvenster, daarboven een dakkapel met dubbel draairaam, wangen en een geschulpt fronton. In de linker zijgevel centraal een toegangsdeur met meerruitsbovenlicht geflankeerd door meerruitsschuifvensters. Boven de deur een kleinere dakkapel met meerruitsvenster. In de achtergevel diverse schuifvensters als in de linker zijgevel en op het dak een excentrisch geplaatste dakkapel als aan de voorzijde. De rechter zijgevel is blind, maar ter hoogte van de kap wel voorzien van een centraal geplaatste dakkapel als aan de voorzijde. Het linker bouwhuis dateert uit de bouwtijd, omstreeks 1728. Het is van oudsher in gebruik als tuinmanswoning. De moestuin ligt ernaast.

Description
LEFT OUTBUILDING belonging to the country estate Oostermeer. On either side of the main building stand, in symmetrical fashion, red brick outbuildings with an L-shaped floor plan. The elongated building section stands parallel to the street, the short leg of the L juts forward. The buildings consist of one storey and an attic storey under a hipped roof, covered with smoke-cured Old Dutch tiles. There are three chimneys, two of which are on the gable ends. The facades are finished at the top by a simple drip moulding and are provided with a hardstone plinth. In the elongated part there is centrally the front door with multi-pane fanlight, preceded by a stoop of five steps. To the left and right of the entrance area a multi-pane sash window. In the gable of the short leg likewise a multi-pane sash window, above it a dormer window with double casement, side cheeks and a carved pediment. In the left side facade centrally an access door with multi-pane fanlight flanked by multi-pane sash windows. Above the door a smaller dormer window with multi-pane window. In the rear facade various sash windows as in the left side facade and on the roof an eccentrically placed dormer window as on the front. The right side facade is blank, but at the level of the roof is provided with a centrally placed dormer window as on the front. The left outbuilding dates from the time of construction, around 1728. It has been in use since time immemorial as a gardener's cottage. The kitchen garden lies adjacent.
