Omschrijving onderdeel 10:
ENTREEPIJLERS BIJ SPIJKER WATERVLIED. Twee hardstenen 17de-eeuwse slanke pijlers met blokmotief, aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een masceron met een voluut aan weerszijden en bolbekroning. De pijlers zijn vermoedelijk afkomstig van het in 1824-1825 afgebroken poortgebouw van het voorplein van huis Molecaten en naar hun huidige standplaats ter markering van de entree van het spijker

ENTRANCE PIERS AT SPIJKER WATERVLIED. Two hardstone seventeenth-century slender piers with block motif, closed at the top by a mascaron with a volute on either side and ball finial. The piers are presumed to be derived from the gate building demolished in 1824-1825 of the forecourt of huis Molecaten and relocated to their present location to mark the entrance of the barn.
