Omschrijving onderdeel 9:
DAGLONERSWONING BIJ SPIJKER WATERVLIED. Kleine witgepleisterde woning uit het midden van de 19de eeuw op rechthoekige grondslag van een enkele bouwlaag onder een rieten wolfskap. Aan de voorzijde vertoont de kap een golvende houten rand als ornamentele daklijst. Aan de voor(oost-)zijde iets links van het midden de toegangsdeur met bovenlicht, links klein een 4-ruitsvenster met luik en rechts een 12-ruitsschuifvenster met luiken. Luiken en deur zijn geschilderd in de Van Heeckeren kleuren goud en rood. Aan de achterzijde een deels in de gevel verzonken hooiluik.

DAYLABOURER'S DWELLING AT SPIJKER WATERVLIED. Small white-rendered dwelling from the middle of the nineteenth century on rectangular ground plan consisting of a single storey beneath a thatched half-hipped roof. On the front the roof displays a wavy wooden edge as ornamental cornice. On the front (east) side slightly left of centre the entrance door with fanlight, to the left small a 4-pane window with shutter and to the right a 12-pane sash window with shutters. Shutters and door are painted in the Van Heeckeren colours gold and red. On the rear side a hay door partially set into the facade.
