GRAIN MILL. Grain mill erected in 1859 as replacement of a seventeenth-century paper mill in red brick on rectangular and on the rear (east) side three-sided extended ground plan beneath a gabled roof covered with grey Old Dutch tiles with three hipped roofs covered with red Old Dutch tiles above the extension. The roof has an overhang on the sides and rear. On the exterior front (west) the mill wheel and internally the well-preserved nineteenth-century wooden mill machinery and timber frame structure. The white-painted mill represents high ornamental value in the park of Molecaten by its situation in the park and by the neo-gothic form of the windows. On the front a large double window with single pointed-arch fanlight with three intertwined pointed arches as glazing bars. Centrally in the rear (east) side the straight entrance door. To the left of it in the slanting side a pointed-arch 2-pane window with fanlight with two curved glazing bars. In the north facade of the mill a similar window.
