Omschrijving onderdeel 5:
KEERMUREN MET ZANDSTENEN BEELDEN. Twee lage rode bakstenen 19de-eeuwse muren met halfronde doorgang over de Trijsbeek, ter hoogte van de overgang van toegangslaan naar oprit naar het huis. Op de muren een Bentheimer zandstenen leeuw uit de 17de eeuw. Het muurwerk dateert in oorsprong tussen 1832 (Kadastraal Minuutplan) en 1847 (Topografische en Militaire kaart), toen de oprit naar de huidige plek werd verlegd. De leeuwen zijn waarschijnlijk afkomstig van het 17de-eeuwse in 1824-1825 afgebroken poortgebouw, gezien de overeenkomst met de leeuwen op een kopie van een tekening van Pronk van het poortgebouw door Andries Schoemaker uit 1730.

RETAINING WALLS WITH SANDSTONE SCULPTURES. Two low nineteenth-century red brick walls with semicircular passage over the Trijsbeek, at the point of transition from access lane to drive to the house. On the walls a Bentheimer sandstone lion from the 17th century. The brickwork dates originally between 1832 (Cadastral Minute Plan) and 1847 (Topographic and Military map), when the drive to its present location was relocated. The lions are probably derived from the seventeenth-century gate building demolished in 1824-1825, given the correspondence with the lions on a copy of a drawing by Pronk of the gate building by Andries Schoemaker from 1730.
