Omschrijving onderdeel 17: Overslagloods, Gebouw 341.
Inleiding
Voormalige OVERSLAGLOODS cq expeditiegebouw met kantoor "Gebouw 341", gebouwd in 1935. Het expeditiegebouw werd gebruikt bij overslag van grondstoffen die via het naastgelegen spoor - dat in de langsrichting van dit gebouw in noord-zuidrichting liep - werden aangevoerd. Het object bevindt zich in het zuidwestelijke deel van het terrein.
Omschrijving
Gebouw 341 is gebouwd op rechthoekige plattegrond van 42.50x10 meter en bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een zadeldak met betonnen rechthoekige cassette-elementen, afgedekt met bitumen. In het midden is een verhoogd gedeelte met glasplaten aangebracht. Het grote houten overstek aan de westzijde diende om overgeslagen goederen droog te houden.
Het gebouw is opgetrokken in staalskeletbouw van samengestelde spanten met een muurvulling van baksteen, deels in blokverband en deels in Noors kettingverband.
De westgevel, ooit de spoorzijde, is voorzien van twee paar grote dubbele houten schuifdeuren, de kopse noordgevel van één paar dubbele schuifdeuren. Alle deuren zijn voorzien van één verticale en twee horizontale vensterstroken. In de beide langsgevels zijn vensterstroken van 21-ruits vensters aangebracht. In de traveeën buiten het overstek liggen ook nog drieruits vensters onder deze vensterstroken.
Binnen bevindt zich nog een klein, verhoogd kantoor dat met meerruits vensterpanelen is afgescheiden van het loodsdeel. De vloer is voorzien van een betonlaag.
Waardering
Het voormalige expeditiegebouw "Gebouw 341" is van cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een expeditiegebouw op een militair-industrieel terrein uit het Interbellum en tevens van belang als historisch-functioneel hoofdonderdeel van het complex Hembrugterrein, meer in het bijzonder als onderdeel van de NV Gereedschapswerktuigen Fabriek Hembrug.

Introduction
Former TRANSSHIPMENT SHED or expediting building with office "Building 341", built in 1935. The expediting building was used for the transshipment of raw materials that were delivered via the adjacent railway - which ran in the longitudinal direction of this building in the north-south direction. The object is located in the southwestern part of the site.
Description
Building 341 is built on a rectangular ground plan of 42.50 x 10 metres and consists of one storey under a gabled roof with concrete rectangular cassette elements, covered with bitumen. In the middle, a raised section with glass plates has been installed. The large wooden overhang on the west side served to keep transshipped goods dry.
The building is constructed in steel skeleton construction of composite spans with a wall filling of brickwork, partly in block bond and partly in Nordic chain bond.
The west facade, once the railway side, is provided with two pairs of large double wooden sliding doors, the end north facade with one pair of double sliding doors. All doors are provided with one vertical and two horizontal window strips. In both longitudinal facades are window strips of 21-pane windows. In the bays outside the overhang there are also three-pane windows below these window strips.
Inside is a small, raised office which is separated from the shed section by multi-pane window panels. The floor is provided with a concrete layer.
Valuation
The former expediting building "Building 341" is of cultural and architectural-historical value as an example of an expediting building on a military-industrial site from the Interwar period and is also significant as a historically-functional main component of the Hembrug complex, more particularly as part of the NV Gereedschapswerktuigen Fabriek Hembrug.
