Inleiding
TRANSFORMATORGEBOUW, deel uitmakend van het sluizencomplex "Parksluizen", noordwestelijk gelegen van de Grote Parksluis.
Omschrijving
Het transformatorgebouw is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een vrijwel vierkante plattegrond met een kleine vierkante, lagere uitbouw aan de noordgevel. Het gebouw omvat een bouwlaag onder een laag schilddak. Op het noordelijke dakschild bevindt zich de gemetselde schoorsteen. De zuidgevel is blind. Aan de noordgevel bevindt zich de lagere, vierkante uitbouw met eigen schilddak. De uitbouw bevat in de west- en noordgevel een horizontaal rechthoekig venster en in de oostgevel een stalen deur. De westgevel bevat in het midden een dubbele stalen deur. De oostgevel is blind.

TRANSFORMER BUILDING, forming part of the lock complex "Parksluizen", located to the north-west of the Grote Parksluis.
Description
The transformer building is built of red brick on a virtually square plan with a small square, lower extension on the north facade. The building comprises one storey under a low hipped roof. On the northern roof slope is the masonry chimney. The south facade is blank. On the north facade is the lower, square extension with its own hipped roof. The extension contains in the west and north facades a horizontal rectangular window and in the east facade a steel door. The west facade contains a double steel door in the middle. The east facade is blank.
Valuation
Transformer building dating from 1931-1933, of general importance as a historic-functional component of the lock complex "Parksluizen".
