Complexonderdeel I: Bedieningsgebouw binnensluishoofd Grote Sluis
Inleiding
BEDIENINGSGEBOUW van het binnensluishoofd van de Grote Parksluis deel uitmakend van het complex "Parksluizen" en gelegen op de noordwestelijke hoek van het terrein tussen de beide sluizen.
Omschrijving
Het bedieningsgebouw is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een rechthoekige plattegrond met op de noordwestelijke hoek de inspringende entree. Het gebouw telt twee bouwlagen onder een laag schilddak. Op het zuidelijke dakschild bevindt zich een gemetselde schoorsteen. De westgevel heeft op de begane grond links de inspringende entree met houten deur met groot rechthoekig venster met kleine vierkante roedenverdeling en een afgeronde deurlijst met granieten aanzetstukken. Rechts een horizontaal rechthoekig venster. De verdieping kraagt trapsgewijs uit op een zware granieten 'plint' tot een (balkonachtige) erker over de volle breedte van het gebouw. Links bevindt zich nog een extra uitspringing met een koperen afdekking. De verdieping is boven de gemetselde borstwering geheel voorzien van een glaspui met bovenlichten. De zuidgevel heeft ter hoogte van de begane grond twee rechthoekige vensters. Op de verdieping links de lichte uitkraging van de westelijke erker, met glaspui met bovenlichten. De oostgevel bevat in het midden een uitspringende verticale, driezijdige vensterstrook met roedenverdeling en met decoratieve granieten afwerking aan de boven- en onderzijde en linksonder een klein vierkant venster. De noordgevel bevat op de begane grond rechts de inpandige entree met een rechthoekig venster. Hierboven begint de zware granieten aanzet tot de westelijke erker. Ter hoogte van de verdieping vanaf halverwege de gevel rechts de uitkraging van deze erker, met glaspui met bovenlichten en koperen afdekking.

CONTROL BUILDING of the inner sluice head of the Grote Parksluis forming part of the complex "Parksluizen" and located on the northwestern corner of the site between the two sluices.
Description
The control building is constructed in red brick on a rectangular floor plan with the recessed entrance on the northwestern corner. The building comprises two storeys under a low hipped roof. On the southern roof slope is a brick chimney. The west facade has on the ground floor on the left the recessed entrance with wooden door with large rectangular window with small square glazing bars and a rounded door moulding with granite plinths. On the right a horizontal rectangular window. The upper storey projects in steps on a heavy granite 'plinth' to a (balcony-like) bay window over the full width of the building. On the left there is a further projection with a copper coping. The upper storey above the brick parapet is entirely fitted with a glass curtain wall with fanlights. The south facade has on the ground floor level two rectangular windows. On the upper storey on the left the slight projection of the western bay window, with glass curtain wall with fanlights. The east facade contains in the centre a projecting vertical, three-sided window strip with glazing bars and with decorative granite finish at the top and bottom and bottom left a small square window. The north facade contains on the ground floor on the right the internal entrance with a rectangular window. Above this begins the heavy granite plinth to the western bay window. At upper storey level from halfway along the facade on the right the projection of this bay window, with glass curtain wall with fanlights and copper coping.
