Inleiding
Havenkantoor, oorspronkelijk in gebruik als 'rapporteergebouw', deel uitmakend van het sluizencomplex "Parksluizen", noordelijk gelegen op het terrein tussen de Kleine- en de Grote Parksluis.
N.B. Oorspronkelijk bevond zich aan de zuidelijke gevel van het gebouw een inmiddels afgebroken, iets lagere schotbalkenloods.
Omschrijving
Het havenkantoor is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een rechthoekige plattegrond en omvat een bouwlaag onder een overkragend schilddak met op het zuidelijke dakschild een gemetselde schoorsteen. De voorgevel (noordgevel) is symmetrisch ingedeeld met in het midden een brede rondboog als deuropening. De stalen rondboogdeur is rondom voorzien van een eveneens rondboog vensteromlijsting in stalen profielen. De deur is voorzien van een granieten traptrede en aanzetblokken voor de vensteromlijsting. Aan weerszijden van de entree kleine rechthoekige tweelichtvensters. De oostelijke en westelijke zijgevels bevatten in de zuidelijke gevelhelft elk een horizontaal rechthoekig venster met roedenverdeling. In de zuidelijke gevel geheel rechts en links een smal rechthoekig venster met drieruits verdeling.

Uit 1931-1933 daterend havenkantoor, oorspronkelijk in gebruik als rapporteergebouw, van algemeen belang als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het sluizencomplex "Parksluizen".

Introduction
Harbour office, originally used as a 'reporting building', forming part of the sluice complex "Parksluizen", located to the north on the site between the Kleine and the Grote Parksluis.
N.B. Originally there was on the southern facade of the building a now demolished, slightly lower timber-frame shed.
Description
The harbour office is constructed in red brick on a rectangular floor plan and comprises one storey under an overhanging hipped roof with on the southern roof slope a brick chimney. The front facade (north facade) is symmetrically arranged with in the centre a broad round arch as a door opening. The steel round arch door is surrounded by an equally round arch window frame in steel profiles. The door is provided with a granite step and setting blocks for the window frame. On either side of the entrance small rectangular two-light windows. The eastern and western side facades each contain in the southern half of the facade a horizontal rectangular window with glazing bars. In the southern facade far right and left a narrow rectangular window with three-pane glazing.
Valuation
Harbour office dating from 1931-1933, originally used as a reporting building, of general importance as a historical-functional component of the sluice complex "Parksluizen".
