Omschrijving onderdeel 34: HEK.
In de opslag bevindt zich een ornamenteel smeedijzeren hek, vermoedelijk daterend van omstreeks 1900, dat veel overeenkomst vertoont met het hek bij de brug over de Bochtdijk. De ornamentele, gecanneleerde gietijzeren pijlers worden bekroond door een bol. Het hek is wit en rood geschilderd. Het zal na restauratie op een nader te bepalen locatie weer in het park geplaatst worden.
Waardering
Het HEK is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege:
- de ornamentele waarde;
- de ensemblewaarde.

Description
Description component 34: GATE.
In storage is an ornamental wrought-iron gate, presumably dating from around 1900, which shows much resemblance to the gate at the bridge over the Bochtdijk. The ornamental, fluted cast-iron pillars are crowned by a sphere. The gate is painted white and red. After restoration it will be placed again in the park at a location to be determined later.
