Omschrijving onderdeel 3: TOEGANGSPOORT MET TOEGANGSBRUG.
Rode bakstenen TOEGANGSPOORT geflankeerd door twee ronde torens met achtzijdige bovenbouw onder achtzijdige met leien gedekte spitse daken, in neogotische stijl. Boven de poort een sluitsteen met wapen en tekst 'T HUYS TER HAER. Aan de voorzijde tussen de torens een houten weergang met wapenschilden en gele baksteen. Voorzien van een dubbele toegangsdeur in rood en wit met rijk smeedijzeren beslag. Ervoor de rode bakstenen rondboog TOEGANGSBRUG. De toegangspoort, die door Cuypers rond 1905 werd ontworpen is verbonden met een dienstgebouw, dat deel uitmaakt van het Stalplein.

De TOEGANGSPOORT MET TOEGANGSBRUG is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:

Description of component 3: ACCESS GATE WITH ACCESS BRIDGE.
Red brick ACCESS GATE flanked by two round towers with octagonal upper sections beneath octagonal slate-covered pitched roofs, in neo-gothic style. Above the gate a keystone with coat of arms and text 'T HUYS TER HAER. On the front between the towers a wooden gallery with coat of arms shields and yellow brick. Fitted with a double access door in red and white with rich wrought-iron fittings. In front of it the red brick round arch ACCESS BRIDGE. The access gate, designed by Cuypers around 1905, is connected to a service building that forms part of the Stable Square.
