Omschrijving onderdeel 32: BANK bij het tennishuisje.
Bij het tennishuisje staat een bank van Franse kalksteen, met een verfijnde vormgeving. De bank is waarschijnlijk geïmporteerd uit het buitenland en dateert vermoedelijk uit het begin van de 19de eeuw. De huidige locatie is gekozen na de restauratie van de bank in overleg met landschapsarchitect Michael van Gessel. Daarvoor stond de bank in de Rozentuin.
Waardering
De BANK bij het tennishuisje is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ornamentele waarde;

Description component 32: BENCH at the tennis house.
At the tennis house stands a bench of French limestone, with refined design. The bench was probably imported from abroad and is presumed to date from the beginning of the 19th century. The current location was chosen following the restoration of the bench in consultation with landscape architect Michael van Gessel. Previously the bench stood in the Rose Garden.
