Omschrijving
Ten noordoosten van de boerderij een voormalig ZOMERHUIS/KAASMAKERIJ. Het zomerhuis is in 1937 verbouwd tot een apart woonhuis waarbij een gedeelte van de schuur bij het woonhuis is getrokken. Het rood bakstenen huis op rechthoekige grondslag bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een kapverdieping onder een zadeldak met afgewolfde uiteinden, gedekt met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen. In de eindgevel aan de voorzijde (zuidoost) twee meerruits vensters met kleine roedenverdeling en halve luiken en uiterst rechts een eenvoudige toegangsdeur met meerruits bovenlicht; ter hoogte van de kap een dubbel venster met bovenlicht en halve luiken. In de zijgevels diverse deuren en vensters.

ZOMERHUIS/KAASMAKERIJ, deeluitmakend van een ensemble van boerderij en zomerhuis "Hofstede Rhijnauwen" behorende tot de buitenplaats Rhijnauwen is van algemeen belang:

Description
To the northeast of the farmhouse a former SUMMER HOUSE/CHEESE DAIRY. The summer house was converted in 1937 into a separate residence, with part of the barn adjoining the residence. The red brick house on a rectangular ground plan consists of one storey and a roof space under a gabled roof with half-hipped ends, covered with dulled Dutch tiles. In the end elevation at the front (southeast) two multi-pane windows with small glazing bars and half shutters and at the far right a simple entrance door with multi-pane fanlight; at the height of the roof structure a double window with fanlight and half shutters. In the side elevations various doors and windows.
