Inleiding
Vrijstaand TRANSFORMATORHUISJE behorend tot het complex van Sanatorium De Klokkenberg. Het transformatorhuisje is gebouwd in de periode 1951-1953 en is ontworpen door C.H. de Bever en C.M. van Moorsel. Het transformatorhuisje staat aan de noordwestzijde van het complex bij de Galderseweg.
Omschrijving
Het gebouwtje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken in baksteen. Het is gedekt met een schilddak met pannen. De gevels zijn uitgevoerd in sober metselwerk met in de noord- oost- en westgevel een toegang. Boven de opening in de noordgevel is een oculus aangebracht voor de ventilatie. De toegangen in de oost- en westgevel zijn voorzien van een gemetseld toegangstrapje. In alle gevels zijn aan de boven en onder vierkante ventilatieopeningen aangebracht. De kunststenen dakrand vormt tevens de goot.

Het TRANSFORMATORHUISJE van complex Sanatorium De Klokkenberg is van algemeen belang als toonbeeld van de vroege wederopbouw:

Freestanding TRANSFORMER SUBSTATION forming part of the complex of Sanatorium De Klokkenberg. The transformer substation was built in the period 1951-1953 and was designed by C.H. de Bever and C.M. van Moorsel. The transformer substation is located on the northwest side of the complex at the Galderseweg.
Description
The building has a rectangular floor plan and is built of brick. It is covered with a hipped roof with tiles. The façades are executed in plain brickwork with an entrance in the north, east and west façades. Above the opening in the north façade an oculus has been provided for ventilation. The entrances in the east and west façades are provided with a brick entrance step. In all façades square ventilation openings have been provided at the top and bottom. The artificial stone roof edge also forms the gutter.

The TRANSFORMER SUBSTATION of complex Sanatorium De Klokkenberg is of general importance as an exemplar of early post-war reconstruction:
