Omschrijving onderdeel 17
TOEGANGSHEK ten westen van het kasteel, het zogenaamde Wageningse hek. Daterend uit de 18de eeuw en afkomstig uit Wageningen (grondbezit van Lubbert Adolf Torck). Twee vierkante rode bakstenen gemetselde pijlers, met aan elk van de vier zijden pilasters bekroond met een geprofileerde natuurstenen lijst en gebeeldhouwde bolvormige Lodewijk XIV-bekroning met acanthusbladeren; daartussen een dubbel smeedijzeren hek.
Waardering
Het TOEGANGSHEK, onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Rosendael, is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:

Description of component 17
ACCESS GATE to the west of the castle, the so-called Wageningen gate. Dating from the 18th century and originating from Wageningen (land property of Lubbert Adolf Torck). Two square red brick built pillars, each with pilasters on all four sides crowned with a profiled natural stone moulding and carved ball-shaped Louis XIV finial with acanthus leaves; between them a double wrought-iron gate.

The ACCESS GATE, component of the historical country house Rosendael, is of general cultural-historical importance:
