Omschrijving onderdeel 7
SCHELPENGROT MET WATERVAL uit omstreeks 1725, vermoedelijk van de hand van Michiel Moser. Gerestaureerd in 1996-1997, bestaande uit een in beton opgebouwde nis, steunend op twee pilaren, die geheel bekleed is met schelpen en stenen. In de grot een stenen bank met houten plankier. Het water wordt via een loden bak op de grot tussen eerste en tweede vijver gestort.

De SCHELPENGROT MET WATERVAL, onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Rosendael, is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:

SHELL GROTTO WITH WATERFALL from around 1725, presumably by the hand of Michiel Moser. Restored in 1996-1997, consisting of a niche constructed in concrete, supported on two pillars, which is entirely faced with shells and stones. In the grotto a stone bench with wooden plank seating. The water is poured onto the grotto via a lead tank between the first and second pond.
