Omschrijving onderdeel 28: RUSTIEKE BRUG IN BETON MET HEK OVER DE BOCHTDIJK.
Grote rustieke BRUG over de Bochtdijk uit circa 1906 als verbinding tussen het Noorder- en Zuiderpark, met betonnen, gecementeerde rechte leuningen met korte rechte staanders waartussen vulwerk van imitatie rustieke takken. Recht plankier, gestut door rechte en schuine imitatie balken. In betonnen staanders, balken, leuningen en vulwerk zijn imitatie houtnerven en schors getekend. Brug heeft grote ornamentele waarde voor de gehele parkaanleg en voor het gezicht vanaf de Bochtdijk. De brug werd in 1997 gerestaureerd.
Aan de noordzijde van deze brug een ornamenteel smeedijzeren hek, dat waarschijnlijk uit dezelfde tijd dateert. De ornamentele gietijzeren pijlers aan weerszijden worden bekroond door een bol. Het hek is wit en rood geschilderd.

Description component 28: RUSTIC CONCRETE BRIDGE WITH GATE OVER THE BOCHTDIJK.
Large rustic BRIDGE over the Bochtdijk from circa 1906 as a link between the North and South Parks, with concrete, cemented straight railings with short straight posts between which infill of imitation rustic branches. Straight planked deck, supported by straight and slanted imitation beams. In concrete posts, beams, railings and infill imitation wood grain and bark are drawn. The bridge is of great ornamental value for the entire park layout and for the view from the Bochtdijk. The bridge was restored in 1997.
On the north side of this bridge an ornamental wrought iron gate, which probably dates from the same period. The ornamental cast iron piers on either side are crowned by a sphere. The gate is painted white and red.
