Omschrijving onderdeel 17: ENTREEHEK TER AFSLUITING VAN DE ZUYLENLAAN.
Siersmeedijzeren spijlenhek ter afsluiting van de Zuylenlaan (oostzijde) uit circa 1900 bestaande uit eenvoudig regelwerk met centraal een dubbel entreehek, aan de bovenzijde deels afgesloten door pijlpunten en voluten en aan weerszijden afgesloten door een natuurstenen blokpijler onder afgeplatte piramidevormige afdekplaat. Aan weerszijden vleugelstukken in identiek hekwerk (iets lager) aan de uiteinden kwartcirkelvormig inzwenkend en vervolgens naar achteren omgaand in een rechte hoek.

Het ENTREEHEK TER AFSLUITING VAN DE ZUYLENLAAN aan de oostzijde is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege:

Description
Description of component 17: ENTRANCE GATE AS CLOSURE OF THE ZUYLENLAAN.
Decorative wrought-iron paling gate as closure of the Zuylenlaan (east side) from circa 1900 consisting of simple framework with centrally a double entrance gate, at the top partly closed by arrow points and volutes and on either side closed by a natural stone block pillar beneath a flattened pyramid-shaped covering plate. On either side wing sections in identical gate work (slightly lower) at the ends curving inward in a quarter circle arc and subsequently running backward into a right angle.
Valuation
The ENTRANCE GATE AS CLOSURE OF THE ZUYLENLAAN on the east side is of general cultural-historical importance because of:
