Omschrijving onderdeel 6: GRAFMONUMENT behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Overvelde.
In het wandelbos ten noordwesten van het hoofdgebouw ligt, omgeven door een oud grachtenstelsel, het graf van de familie Van Coeverden die van 1884 tot 1956 eigenaar van het landgoed was. Op het graf een eenvoudige natuurstenen grafsteen waarop de namen, de plaats en datum van de geboorte en de plaats en datum van het overlijden van de verschillende, ter plaatse begraven familieleden zijn aangebracht. Om het graf slanke, natuurstenen pijlers op vierkante grondslag, gedecoreerd met een krans en onderling verbonden door een ketting. De plaats wordt voorts gemarkeerd door een monumentale treurbeuk. Het grafmonument dateert vermoedelijk uit de jaren '20 van de 20ste eeuw.

Description component 6: FUNERARY MONUMENT belonging to the historical country estate Overvelde.
In the woodland walk to the northwest of the main building lies, surrounded by an old system of ditches, the grave of the Van Coeverden family who were owners of the estate from 1884 to 1956. On the grave a simple natural stone gravestone on which the names, the place and date of birth and the place and date of death of the various family members buried there are inscribed. Around the grave slender natural stone piers on square base, decorated with a wreath and interconnected by a chain. The place is further marked by a monumental weeping beech. The funerary monument presumably dates from the 1920s.
