Omschrijving onderdeel 5: BOERDERIJ DE WILGERIJ behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Overvelde.
Ten zuiden van huis Overvelde ligt boerderij de Wilgerij. De middenpartij van de monumentale boerderij is geprojecteerd op de meest zuidelijke dwarsas behorend tot de formele lanenstructuur van het landgoed. Zodoende vertegenwoordigt het complex ter plaatse een belangrijke ornamentele waarde.
De deels onderkelderde boerderij op rechthoekige grondslag is opgetrokken uit rode baksteen, bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een zolder- annex kapverdieping onder een rietgedekt zadeldak met afgewolfde uiteinden. In de voor- en achtergevel diverse vensters en deuren, in de eindgevels een centrale dubbele inrijdeur geflankeerd door staldeuren. Het woonhuis is ondergebracht in een centraal bouwdeel dat haaks op de lange westgevel is geplaatst en tot de nokhoogte van de boerderij werd opgetrokken. Het wordt gedekt door een rietgedekt overkragend zadeldak. Op de begane grond centraal een eenvoudige toegangsdeur met meerruits bovenlicht geflankeerd door meerruits schuifvensters en rechts een keldervenster onder het schuifvenster. Ter hoogte van de kap drie smalle hoge getoogde meerruits vensters, waarvan het middelste breder is dan de beide anderen. In de top een rond venster.
De boerderij dateert tenminste uit de eerste helft van de 19de eeuw, maar is mogelijk ouder.

Description component 5: FARMHOUSE DE WILGERIJ belonging to the historical country estate Overvelde.
South of Overvelde house lies farmhouse De Wilgerij. The central section of the monumental farmhouse is projected onto the most southern transverse axis belonging to the formal lane structure of the estate. Thus the complex represents an important ornamental value at this location.
The partly cellared farmhouse on rectangular base is constructed of red brick, consists of one storey and an attic storey including roof space under a reed-covered gabled roof with half-hipped ends. In the front and rear facades various windows and doors, in the end facades a central double carriage entrance flanked by stable doors. The dwelling house is accommodated in a central building section that is set at right angles to the long west facade and was built up to the ridge height of the farmhouse. It is covered by a reed-covered overhanging gabled roof. On the ground floor centrally a simple entrance door with multi-pane fanlight flanked by multi-pane sash windows and to the right a cellar window below the sash window. At the level of the roof three narrow tall arched multi-pane windows, of which the middle one is wider than the other two. In the gable apex a round window.
The farmhouse dates from at least the first half of the 19th century, but may be older.
