Omschrijving
TUINORNAMENTEN behorend bij de historische buitenplaats Slangeburg. De tuinornamenten zijn te onderscheiden in:
A. zonnewijzer staande in het midden op het voorplein, poly-edrische zandstenen zonnewijzer, 1760, op oorspronkelijke smalle hoge zandstenen sokkel met verdiepte vlakken met kraalrand; wijzer met één horizontaal vlak, 4 verticale en 8 inclinerende vlakken; elk vlak met een verguld-bronzen indicator.
B. stel zandstenen palen aan de Plakdijk ter markering van het begin van de toegangslaan: stel afgeplatte conische zandstenen palen met opschrift in bas-reliëf: SLANGEN - BURG, midden-XIX.
C. stel vazen staande op het voorplein ter weerszijden van de noordelijke brug: stel natuurstenen vazen op dito sokkels, XVIII-b: grote ronde dekselvazen in Regence-stijl, rijk gedecoreerd met geappliqueerde bloem-,blad- en rocaille-motieven en kwabranden; vierkante sokkels in gedrongen balustervorm; op de vlakken ingekrast ruitmotieven.
D. stel vazen staande op het voorplein ter weerszijden der hiervoor genoemde vazen: zelfde type vaas, alleen iets kleiner; vierkante sokkels met geprofileerde dekplaat en plint.

Description
GARDEN ORNAMENTS belonging to the historic country estate Slangenburg. The garden ornaments are distinguished as:
A. sundial standing in the centre of the forecourt, polyhedral sandstone sundial, 1760, on original narrow tall sandstone plinth with recessed planes with bead moulding; dial with one horizontal plane, 4 vertical and 8 inclined planes; each plane with a gilt-bronze indicator.
B. set of sandstone posts on the Plakdijk marking the beginning of the access avenue: set of flattened conical sandstone posts with inscription in bas-relief: SLANGEN - BURG, mid-19th century.
C. set of urns standing on the forecourt on either side of the northern bridge: set of natural stone urns on similar plinths, 18th century, second half: large round lidded urns in Regence style, richly decorated with applied flower, leaf and rocaille motifs and crack burns; square plinths in squat baluster form; diamond patterns incised on the planes.
D. set of urns standing on the forecourt on either side of the aforementioned urns: same type of urn, only slightly smaller; square plinths with moulded top slab and plinth.
