BEGRAAFPLAATS, XIX-d behorend bij de historische buitenplaats Slangenburg. Ten oosten van het kasteel in het bos naast de hertenkamp: een door een bakstenen muur (36x36m) en smalle droge gracht omgeven vierkante begraafplaats (16x16m) van de familie Passmann. De muur wordt geleed door pijlers en gedekt door een ezelsrug van dunne daktegels; aan de onderzijde verbreed, met op de overgang geglaasde afzaten. In de muur een vroeg-18de-eeuws toegangshek van Italiaanse makelij tussen vierkante pijlers bekroond door zandstenen neogotische obeliskvormige dekstukken; smeed- en gietijzeren hekvleugels in renaissancistische vormen; om de verhoogde begraafplaats ligt een granieten band met 28 granieten obeliskvormige balusters, met elkaar verbonden door kettingen met gepunte schakels.

Description
BURIAL GROUND, XIX-d belonging to the historic country estate Slangenburg. To the east of the castle in the woodland beside the deer park: a square burial ground (16x16m) of the Passmann family surrounded by a brick wall (36x36m) and narrow dry moat. The wall is articulated by pilasters and capped by a saddle roof of thin roof tiles; at the bottom widened, with glazed offsets on the transition. In the wall an early eighteenth-century gateway of Italian manufacture between square pilasters crowned by sandstone neogothic obelisk-shaped capping stones; wrought and cast iron gate leaves in Renaissance forms; around the raised burial ground lies a granite band with 28 granite obelisk-shaped balusters, connected to each other by chains with pointed links.
