TUINBEELD (DAVID) OP SOKKEL behorende tot de buitenplaats Nijenhuis.
In de tuin aan de achterzijde van het huis staat op een eenvoudige sokkel een beeld van David, zijn voet rustend op het hoofd van Goliath. Het beeld is uitgevoerd in wit Cararisch marmer, het zwaard en de schede zijn van hout. Het beeld dateert vermoedelijk uit de 18de eeuw. De sokkel op vierkante grondslag is van Bentheimer zandsteen, heeft afgeschuinde hoeken en zwenkt naar beneden enigszins uit; de plint heeft een eenvoudig profiel, het basement en de forse afdekplaat zijn onversierd. De sokkel dateert uit de 18de of de 19de eeuw.

GARDEN SCULPTURE (DAVID) ON PEDESTAL belonging to the country estate Nijenhuis.
In the garden at the rear of the house stands on a simple pedestal a sculpture of David, his foot resting on the head of Goliath. The sculpture is executed in white Carrara marble, the sword and scabbard are of wood. The sculpture presumably dates from the 18th century. The pedestal on square base is of Bentheim sandstone, has bevelled corners and tapers slightly downward; the plinth has a simple profile, the basement and the substantial coping slab are undecorated. The pedestal dates from the 18th or 19th century.
