Het GRAFMONUMENT (klasse 2, vak 13, nr 292) van Engelina Cornelia Boom (1884-1914) is geheel van zwart glas gemaakt in een strakke klassieke opbouw, refererend aan een kolom, bekroond door een fronton. De voorzijde is gepolijst en beletterd met de zandstraal; de achterzijde is geheel gezandstraald. Het werkstuk is een product van Ant. Bouvy, in 1914 vervaardigd in zijn werkplaats op de Hoogte Kadijk 117.
Waardering Geheel glazen grafmonument uit 1914, behorend tot de Nieuwe Ooster begraafplaats en als zodanig van zeldzaam materiaalgebruik en van algemeen belang wegens cultuur- en funerair-historische waarde.

The GRAVE MONUMENT (class 2, section 13, no. 292) of Engelina Cornelia Boom (1884-1914) is entirely made of black glass in a strict classical composition, referencing a column, crowned by a pediment. The front face is polished and lettered with sandblasting; the back face is entirely sandblasted. The work is a product of Ant. Bouvy, made in 1914 in his workshop at Hoogte Kadijk 117.
Valuation
Completely glazed grave monument from 1914, belonging to the Nieuwe Ooster cemetery and as such of rare material use and of general importance due to its cultural and funerary-historical value.
