Omschrijving
Het GRAFMONUMENT (klasse 2, vak II, nr.22) van de familie Rädecker; beeldhouwer Anton Rädecker vervaardigde het sculptuur waarschijnlijk na de dood van zijn moeder in 1921 (vader Rädecker overleed in 1936). In basaltachtige steen is de verbondenheid van vader en moeder letterlijk uitgebeeld door middel van plastisch gestileerde (van ca. 50 cm. hoge) figuren van vrouw en man in innige omarming naast elkaar op het hoge basaltblok, waar de namen zijn ingegraveerd.

Grafmonument uit 1921 voor de beeldhouwersfamilie Rädecker, behorend tot de Nieuwe Oosterbegraafplaats en als zodanig van algemeen belang wegens cultuur- en funerair-historische waarde.

Description
The GRAVE MONUMENT (class 2, section II, no. 22) of the Rädecker family; sculptor Anton Rädecker created the sculpture probably after the death of his mother in 1921 (father Rädecker died in 1936). In basalt-like stone, the bond between father and mother is literally depicted by means of plastically stylised figures (approximately 50 cm high) of woman and man in intimate embrace next to each other on the high basalt block, where the names are engraved.
Valuation
Grave monument from 1921 for the sculptor family Rädecker, belonging to the Nieuwe Oosterbegraafplaats and as such of general importance due to cultural and funerary-historical value.
