Omschrijving
De DIRECTEURSWONING is van het eigenlijke terrein van de voormalige gasfabriek afgesloten door een hoog hek. De grote villa is in een landelijke stijl opgetrokken en ligt op een terrein gesitueerd uit de rooilijn van de Ouderkerkerdijk. De villa bestaat uit een begane grond, een verdieping en een hoge houten kapverdieping. De gevels zijn vlak uitgewerkt; in de houten tuitgevels en daklijsten is veel hout verwerkt.
Waardering
Directeurswoning tot stand gekomen in de periode 1907-1913 en van algemeen belang wegens de architectuurhistorische en typologische waarde, van verder belang als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex Zuidergasfabriek.

The DIRECTOR'S RESIDENCE is separated from the actual grounds of the former gas works by a high fence. The large villa is built in a rural style and is located on a site set back from the building line of the Ouderkerkerdijk. The villa consists of a ground floor, one storey and a high wooden roof storey. The facades are executed flush; in the wooden spout gables and cornice lines much wood is used.
Valuation
Director's residence constructed in the period 1907-1913 and of general importance owing to its architectural history and typological value, and of further importance as a historically-functional component of the Zuidergasfabriek complex.
