Omschrijving
Vrijstaande OPZICHTERSWONING met houten bijgebouwtje van de Zuidergasfabriek uit 1907-1913 in sobere trant van overgangsarchitectuur, opgetrokken in baksteen, met één bouwlaag en kapverdieping op een vrijwel vierkante plattegrond. De twee kleine tuitgevels zijn gedeeltelijk met hout bekleed en het schilddak is met rode dakpannen gedekt. Overstekende gootlijst op klossen. Een gele bakstenen fries markeert de verdieping; omlopende cordonlijst boven plint. Voorgevel met twee vensterassen op de begane grond. Schuifvensters met onderverdeelde bovenlichten. De ingang bevindt zich aan de NW-gevel. In de achtertuin bevindt zich een losstaand deels houten bijgebouwtje met één bouwlaag onder zadeldak met pannen met overstek en meerruits gelede vensters en deurlicht.

Description
Detached FOREMAN'S HOUSE with wooden outbuilding of the Zuidergasfabriek from 1907-1913 in sober style of transitional architecture, erected in brick, with one storey and roof attic on an almost square plan. The two small spout gables are partially clad in timber and the hipped roof is covered with red roof tiles. Overhanging eaves moulding on brackets. A yellow brick frieze marks the storey; continuous cordon moulding above plinth. Front elevation with two window axes on the ground floor. Sash windows with subdivided fanlights. The entrance is situated on the NW elevation. In the rear garden there is a detached partly wooden outbuilding with one storey under gabled roof with tiles with overhang and multi-pane glazed windows and door light.
Valuation
Foreman's house with wooden outbuilding dating from 1907-1913 of general significance due to its cultural- and architectural-historical and typological value, and as a historical-functional component of the Zuidergasfabriek complex.
