Omschrijving onderdeel 5: DAM met TOEGANGSPOORT, XVIII-XIX.
De dam heeft flanken en borstweringen van baksteen; borstweringen met rollaag zwenken licht uit aan zijde van oprijlaan; de dam is verhard met veldkeien. De toegangspoort sluit aan op de dam aan de binnenzijde van de gracht en bestaat uit twee forse bakstenen pijlers, die verbonden zijn door een laag dakje (grijze pannen), gedragen door witgeschilderde balken. De ijzeren hekvleugels zijn nieuw. De westelijke pijler is met de boerderij verbonden door een korte kwartronde muur, die in de richting van de boerderij iets afloopt.

De DAM met TOEGANGSPOORT is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:

Description
Description of component 5: DAM with ENTRANCE GATE, 18th-19th century.
The dam has flanks and parapets of brick; parapets with roll moulding curve slightly outward at the side of the approach drive; the dam is surfaced with fieldstones. The entrance gate connects to the dam on the inside of the moat and consists of two substantial brick piers, which are connected by a low roof (grey tiles), supported by whitewashed beams. The iron gate wings are new. The western pier is connected to the farmhouse by a short quarter-round wall, which slopes slightly in the direction of the farmhouse.
Valuation
The DAM with ENTRANCE GATE is of general cultural-historical significance:
- by reason of its age;
- by reason of its architectural design;
- as an essential cultural-historical component of the complex.
