Omschrijving onderdeel 3: BOERDERIJ, XVIII.
De boerderij is gebouwd evenwijdig aan de noord-, west-, en zuidzijde van de gracht, rode baksteen onder omgaand schilddak (rode Oud-Hollandse pannen) bestaande uit tegen elkaar in U-vorm aangebouwde delen. Het noordelijk deel is een grote schuur, het westelijke deel is een woning (topgevel) en in het zuidelijke deel de stallen en een remise. Laatstgenoemd gedeelte is naar de binnenplaatszijde met grijze Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt. De remise vertoont aan deze zijde een grote inrijpoort met dubbele deur onder een tympaan. In het tympaan een hardstenen wapen van de familie Smets (ook wel Smeets). Binnen de U-plattegrond een binnenplaats met fraaie bestrating van kleine veldkeien, XVIII-XIX.
Waardering
De BOERDERIJ is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang wegens:
- de ouderdom;
- als wezenlijk onderdeel van het historische complex;
- als historisch voorbeeld van een eenvoudig complex bijgebouwen van een Limburgse historische buitenplaats.

Description
Description of component 3: FARMHOUSE, 18th century.
The farmhouse is built parallel to the north, west and south sides of the moat, red brick under surrounding hipped roof (red Old Dutch tiles) consisting of parts built against each other in a U-shape. The northern part is a large barn, the western part is a residence (gable wall) and in the southern part the stables and a remise. The latter section is covered on the courtyard side with grey Old Dutch tiles. The remise shows a large loading gate with double door under a tympanum on this side. In the tympanum a hard stone coat of arms of the Smets family (also known as Smeets). Within the U-shaped plan a courtyard with fine paving of small flint stones, 18th-19th century.
Valuation
The FARMHOUSE is of general cultural-historical importance because of:
- its age;
- as an essential component of the historic complex;
- as a historical example of a simple complex of outbuildings of a Limburgian historic country estate.
