Omschrijving onderdeel 1: HOOFDGEBOUW.
Pand op rechthoekige plattegrond, XVIIa + wijzigingen XVIIId; baksteen met mergelbanden onder schilddak (leien) bekroond door een vierkant houten torentje met windvaan 1819. Ankerjaartal 1614 in de voorgevel. Ingang en gewijzigde vensters met omramingen van hardsteen. Drie dakkapellen met gebogen frontons. Voordeur XVIII of ouder. Het gebouw staat in de uiterste zuidoost hoek van het omgrachte terrein. Inwendig o.m.: hardstenen plavuizen vloer in vestibule, XVIII; eiken zoldertrap, XVIII of ouder. Met bijgebouw (gemeente Beegden en Heel; zie onderdeel 2 en 3) op een omgracht terrein gelegen.

Het HOOFDGEBOUW is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang wegens:
- de ouderdom;
- de gaaf bewaarde 17de-eeuwse architectuur met toevoegingen uit de 18de eeuw;

Description
Description of component 1: MAIN BUILDING.
Building on rectangular plan, first half of 17th century + alterations second half of 18th century; brick with limestone bands under hipped roof (slate) crowned by a square wooden tower with weather vane 1819. Anchor date 1614 in the front facade. Entrance and altered windows with hardstone surrounds. Three roof dormers with curved pediments. Front door 18th century or older. The building stands at the extreme southeast corner of the moated grounds. Internally including: hardstone paved floor in vestibule, 18th century; oak staircase to loft, 18th century or older. With outbuilding (municipality of Beegden and Heel; see components 2 and 3) located on moated grounds.

The MAIN BUILDING is of general cultural-historical importance because of:

- the well-preserved 17th-century architecture with additions from the 18th century;

- its prominent location in the historic layout and in the landscape.
