Omschrijving onderdeel 4: ZUILEN
Twee zandstenen rechthoekige zuilen op zandstenen eveneens rechthoekige sokkels, in 1701 vervaardigd naar ontwerp van de steenhouwer Jan Rendelers, als onderdeel van een van de alternatieve (maar klaarblijkelijk dus wel deels uitgevoerde) ontwerpen voor de toendertijd gebouwde ingangspartij van de hoofdwoonvleugel op de hoofdburcht. Op de zijden van de sokkels florale motieven in hoog-reliëf. De zuilen worden afgesloten door een Korintisch kapiteel en bekroond door een bol.

Description component 4: COLUMNS
Two sandstone rectangular columns on sandstone likewise rectangular plinths, made in 1701 after a design by the stonemason Jan Rendelers, as part of one of the alternative (but apparently partly executed) designs for the entrance arrangement of the main residential wing on the main fortification built at that time. On the sides of the plinths floral motifs in high relief. The columns are finished with a Corinthian capital and crowned by a sphere.
