Introduction

BARN with transverse section, dating from the second half of the 18th century–first half of the 19th century and built in the Craft-traditional style. The barn belongs to a long-façade farmhouse and lies outside the built-up area on a spacious farmyard with cottage garden and fruit trees. The barn stands with its ridge at right angles to the road and the farmhouse.

Description

Freestanding barn under thatched hipped roof with half-hipped end. Strips of red Dutch roof tiles. Walls roughcast. Below the half-hipped end in the short side facing the road a large square ventilation opening. In the long side facing the farmhouse large double partition doors in front of which the roof is lifted.
