Omschrijving onderdeel 3: BOUWHUIS.
Inleiding
BOUWHUIS (XVIII en XIX) onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Het Medler opgetrokken in baksteen, bestaande uit een bouwlaag met L-plattegrond afgesloten door een schilddak met gesmoorde pannen. In het linker deel bevinden zich de stallen en koetsruimten, in het rechter deel van het bouwhuis een dienstwoning. In de zuidelijke voorgevel van de dienstwoning jaartalankers 1760.
Omschrijving
In de voorgevel van het koetshuis en in de linker zijgevel van de dienstwoning bevindt zich een dubbele deuropening onder een korfboog. De gevel boven de linker poort eindigt in een topgevel met aangekapt zadeldak. In de topgevel bevindt zich een hooiluik. Tussen de poorten bevindt zich een deur met halfrond bovenlicht met waaiervormige roedenverdeling. Aan weerszijden van de deur een blindvenster met identiek bovenlicht. De gevel eindigt in gietijzeren goten op houten klossen. De gevelopeningen in het rechter woongedeelte zijn voorzien van meerruits ramen. In de uiterste zuidoosthoek van het schilddak boven het woongedeelte, een in hout uitgebouwde duivenslag in de vorm van een driehoeksfronton met zeven vlieggaten.
Het interieur van de stallen en koetsruimten is grotendeels nog oorspronkelijk. Het interieur van het woongedeelte is niet bekend.
Waardering
Het BOUWHUIS als onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats het Medler is van algemeen belang:
- als goed voorbeeld van een in oorsprong 18e-eeuws bouwhuis opgetrokken in steen waarin zowel de stallen en de koetsruimten, als de dienstwoning waren ondergebracht;

Description of component 3: OUTBUILDING.
Introduction
OUTBUILDING (18th and 19th centuries) component of the historic country estate Het Medler erected in brick, consisting of one storey with an L-shaped ground plan closed off by a hipped roof with interlocking tiles. In the left part are the stables and coach house, in the right part of the outbuilding a service dwelling. In the south front facade of the service dwelling date anchors 1760.
Description
In the front facade of the coach house and in the left side facade of the service dwelling is a double door opening under a segmental arch. The facade above the left gate terminates in a stepped gable with attached gabled roof. In the stepped gable is a hay loft opening. Between the gates is a door with a semicircular fanlight with fan-shaped glazing bars. On either side of the door a blind window with identical fanlight. The facade terminates in cast-iron gutters on wooden brackets. The facade openings in the right residential section are fitted with multi-pane windows. In the extreme southeast corner of the roof pitch above the residential section, a wooden-built pigeon loft in the form of a triangular pediment with seven flight holes.
The interior of the stables and coach house is largely still original. The interior of the residential section is not known.
Valuation
The OUTBUILDING as a component of the historic country estate Het Medler is of general interest:
- as a good example of an originally 18th-century outbuilding erected in stone in which both the stables and the coach house, as well as the service dwelling were housed;
