Omschrijving van onderdeel 6: BOERDERIJ.
Op deze plaats stond reeds in de stichtingstijd van Oudaen (ca. 1300) een boerderij. De huidige boerderij lijkt niet ouder dan de 17de eeuw en is waarschijnlijk gebouwd ter vervanging van de oudere, mogelijk met gebruikmaking van oudere onderdelen zoals fundamenten. Het snijwerk in het kalf boven de voordeur toont de jaartallen 1500 en 1857. De boerderij heeft een T-vormige plattegrond met het woongedeelte aan de westzijde en de stal daarachter. Het woonhuis is asymmetrisch van opzet en bestaat uit rechts een lager deel met de nok evenwijdig en links een hoger deel bestaande uit een kelder met opkamer met een asymmetrische trapgevel waarachter het dak loodrecht is aangebracht. Het dak op het woonhuis is met riet gedekt. Het lage deel heeft drie asymmetrisch geplaatste roedeverdeelde schuiframen in de voorgevel en een dakkapel in het midden. In de zijgevel is een deur en een dito venster en voorts twee kleine vensters in de top. Het hoge deel heeft twee roedeverdeelde schuiframen, waarboven een gemetselde korfboog zichtbaar is en een derde kleiner venster in de top. De zijgevel vertoont drie forse kelderlichten waartussen zware muurankers en daarboven één roedeverdeeld schuifraam. De beide zijgevels vertonen enkele vergrote vensters t.b.v. de woonfunctie, de rechter stalgevel is blind, de linker heeft een drietal getoogde stalvensters. De achtergevel is blijkens de sluitsteen boven de inrijdeur in 1892 vernieuwd. Deze heeft een symmetrische opzet met een dubbele inrijdeur met een bovenlicht met een roedeverdeling in de vorm van een half wagenwiel binnen een korfboog, aan weerszijden een rondboog venster en vervolgens een iets hoger geplaatst rond stalraam en aan de buitenzijden een enkele getoogde staldeur. In de top een rondboogvormig luik met daarboven opnieuw een rond stalraam. Het staldak is met moderne pannen belegd. De gevels zijn rondom wit geschilderd met een zwart geschilderde plint. De boerderij vormt samen met het zomerhuis een ensemble met op het erf een drietal leilinden.
Waardering
De BOERDERIJ is van algemeen belang:

Description of component 6: FARMHOUSE.
A farmhouse already stood on this site at the time of the founding of Oudaen (circa 1300). The current farmhouse does not appear to be older than the 17th century and was probably built as a replacement of the older one, possibly using older components such as foundations. The carved work in the corbel above the front door shows the dates 1500 and 1857. The farmhouse has a T-shaped floor plan with the dwelling section on the west side and the stable behind it. The dwelling house is asymmetrical in design and consists on the right of a lower section with the ridge parallel and on the left of a higher section comprising a basement with a room above with an asymmetrical stepped gable behind which the roof is placed perpendicularly. The roof on the dwelling house is thatched. The low section has three asymmetrically placed glazing-bar sash windows in the front façade and a roof dormer in the middle. In the side gable there is a door and a corresponding window and furthermore two small windows in the apex. The high section has two glazing-bar sash windows, above which a brickwork segmental arch is visible and a third smaller window in the apex. The side gable shows three substantial basement lights between which heavy wall anchors and above them one glazing-bar sash window. Both side gables show some enlarged windows for the residential function, the right stable gable is blind, the left one has three arched stable windows. The rear façade was, according to the keystone above the entrance door, renewed in 1892. This has a symmetrical arrangement with a double entrance door with a fanlight with glazing bars in the form of a half wagon wheel within a segmental arch, on each side a round-arched window and then a slightly higher placed round stable window and on the outer sides a single arched stable door. In the apex a round-arched opening with above it again a round stable window. The stable roof is covered with modern tiles. The façades are white-painted all around with a black-painted plinth. The farmhouse together with the summer house forms an ensemble with three linden trees on the courtyard.
