Omschrijving onderdeel 7:PAARDENGRAF
Paardengrafteken op het complex historische buitenplaats Berkenrode. Ten westen van de weilanden loopt een rechte beukenlaan waarlangs aan de oostzijde ongeveer halverwege een grafteken van een paard (1858) staat opgesteld. Dit bestaat uit een houten bord in een hardstenen aedicula-omslijsting. Op beide zijden van het bord een kreupelrijm.
Waardering
Het paardengraf is van algemeen belang vanwege zijn decoratieve betekenis voor de buitenplaats.

Description component 7: HORSE GRAVE
Horse grave marker on the complex of historic country house Berkenrode. West of the meadows a straight beech-tree drive runs, along which on the east side approximately halfway a grave marker of a horse (1858) is set up. This consists of a wooden board in a hardstone aedicula frame. On both sides of the board a couplet.
Valuation
The horse grave is of general importance because of its decorative significance for the country house.
