Omschrijving onderdeel 5: (Bij Schellerbergweg 18 en 18A)
TUINSIERADEN De tuinsieraden van de historische buitenplaats Schellerberg bestaan uit (A) vijf TUINBEELDEN op SOKKELS , (B) SOKKEL en (C) twee TUINVAZEN. Ad A: de vijf zeventiende-eeuwse tuinbeelden staande op sokkels aan de achterzijde in de tuin staan zijn erfstukken van de familie Schoorer. De beelden, oorspronkelijk zes stuks, zijn afkomstig van Sint Jan Ten Heere, een landgoed te Middelburg. Half voor en onder de bomen die het gazon achter het huis afbakenen staan aan de westzijde van het gazon drie beelden, aan de oostzijde twee. Oorspronkelijk stonden er zes beelden. De marmeren beelden op hardstenen sokkels stellen een vrouw en man en een monnik voor. Ad B: zeventiende-eeuwse zandstenen sokkel, bestemd voor een zonnewijzer, thans staande op het gazon ten zuiden van het buitenhuis. Ad C: twee achttiende-eeuwse zandstenen, tuinvazen, geornamenteerd met guirlandes en rozetten, thans geplaatst bij de veranda.

GARDEN ORNAMENTS The garden ornaments of the historic country estate Schellerberg consist of (A) five GARDEN STATUES on PLINTHS, (B) PLINTH and (C) two GARDEN URNS. Ad A: the five seventeenth-century garden statues standing on plinths at the rear in the garden are heirlooms of the Schoorer family. The statues, originally six pieces, come from Sint Jan Ten Heere, an estate near Middelburg. Half in front of and under the trees that border the lawn behind the house, three statues stand on the west side of the lawn, two on the east side. Originally six statues stood there. The marble statues on hardstone plinths represent a woman and man and a monk. Ad B: seventeenth-century sandstone plinth, intended for a sundial, now standing on the lawn to the south of the manor house. Ad C: two eighteenth-century sandstone garden urns, ornamented with garlands and rosettes, now placed by the veranda.
