Inleiding Het RECTORAAT bij het klooster Onze Lieve Vrouwe van Koningsoord werd van 1933-'37 in sobere Neo-Gotische stijl gebouwd naar plannen van architect J. van Dijk. Het klooster is vanuit Chimay gesticht voor de zusters Trappistinnen en werd grotendeels betaald door het eveneens in Berkel-Enschot gesitueerde trappistenklooster Koningshoeven.
Omschrijving Het rectoraat staat solitair in de parkachtige tuin. Het tweelaags gebouw heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, telt twee bouwlagen en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met eternitleien. Het gebouw is opgetrokken in een sobere stijl met elementen van de Neo-Gotiek. De bakstenen gevels zijn geleed door kunststenen dorpellijsten en gepleisterde banden. De voorgevel, die wordt afgesloten door een gemetseld fries met keperboog- en tandlijst, heeft een symmetrische opzet met middenrisaliet met vleugelpoort en bovenlicht, waarboven ter hoogte van het trappenhuis drie naast elkaar geplaatste lancetvensters. In de topgevel een beeldnis. Introduction The RECTORY at the convent Onze Lieve Vrouwe van Koningsoord was built from 1933-'37 in sober Neo-Gothic style according to plans by architect J. van Dijk.
