Inleiding
Het SLIBGEMAAL uit 1937 bevindt zich langs de hoofdverbindingsas van het terrein en ten oosten van het bezinkbassin. Het diende om het slib uit de nabezinkbak naar het (inmiddels gesloopte) gebouw voor de chemische slibverwerking te pompen.
Omschrijving
Het slibgemaal is een eenlaags gebouwtje op rechthoekig grondplan, opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen onder zadeldak, dat is gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen. De enkele toegangsdeur bevindt zich in de westgevel. Op de zolderverdieping is een klein venster met enkel rechtgesloten raam aangebracht. In de zuidgevel bevinden zich drie rechtgesloten vensters met enkele ramen. Tegen de noordgevel is in later tijd een aanbouw geplaatst. De daklijst in de noord- en zuidgevel bestaat uit een brede uitstekende bakgoot. De ooprspronkelijke pompen zijn uit het interieur verwijderd.
Waardering
Het object is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als uitdrukking van een pioniersfase in de rioolwaterzuivering. Het is voldoende gaaf bewaard gebleven. De samenhang met de andere voorgedragen objecten maakt de procesgang inzichtelijk.

The SLUDGE PUMPING STATION from 1937 is located along the main connecting axis of the site and east of the settling tank. It served to pump the sludge from the secondary settling tank to the (now demolished) building for chemical sludge treatment.
Description
The sludge pumping station is a single-storey building on rectangular floor plan, constructed in machine-made brickwork under a gabled roof, covered with improved Dutch tiles. The only entrance door is located in the west facade. On the attic storey a small window with single fixed sash is installed. In the south facade are three fixed sash windows with single sashes. Against the north facade an extension was added at a later time. The eaves moulding in the north and south facades consists of a broad projecting brick gutter. The original pumps have been removed from the interior.
Valuation
The object is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as an expression of a pioneering phase in sewage water purification. It has been preserved in sufficiently intact state. The coherence with the other proposed objects makes the process course comprehensible.
