Inleiding.
Voormalig LEGERINGSGEBOUW, nu dubbel woonhuis. Het pand is gelegen ten noorden van de weg en bevindt zich ten zuiden van nummer 42A/B en ten oosten van nummer 40A/B. De lange gevels staan haaks op de weg. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Groot gebouwentype op rechthoekige grondslag met gevels in schoon metselwerk, een met verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak, topgevels met vlechtingen, tufstenen aanzetstenen, in elk van de kopgevels een licht getoogde ingang met gemetseld laag trapje, in de elk lange gevels drie dakkapellen onder een zinken schilddakje, drie gemetselde schoorstenen. Een aantal van de vensters is vergroot. Bij de na-oorlogse splitsing werden de ingangen aan de kopgevels aangebracht. Ook de interne indeling werd hierbij gewijzigd.

A number of the windows have been enlarged. During the post-war subdivision, the entrances were made at the gable ends. The internal layout was also altered at this time.
