Inleiding.
Voormalig LEGERINGSGEBOUW, nu dubbel woonhuis. Het pand is gelegen aan de noordzijde van de weg, naast nummer 39A/B. De lange gevels staan haaks op de weg. Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Middelgroot gebouwentype op rechthoekige grondslag met gevels in schoon metselwerk, een zadeldak gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen, in elk van de kopgevels een licht getoogde ingang met gemetseld laag trapje, in de elk lange gevels twee dakkapellen onder een zinken schilddakje, twee gemetselde schoorstenen. De vensters in de lange gevels zijn grotendeels nog origineel. Bij de na-oorlogse splitsing werden de ingangen aan de kopgevels aangebracht. Ook de interne indeling werd hierbij gewijzigd.
