Inleiding.
Klein Neoclassicistisch GRAFMONUMENT uit 1891 bestemd voor leden van de familie Drabbe, waarvan de oorspronkelijke bekroning is verdwenen.
Omschrijving.
Het geheel is uitgevoerd in hardsteen, het rechthoekige blok heeft een basis van 60 bij 60 centimeter en een hoogte van 88 centimeter. De onder- en bovenzijde zijn geprofileerd, aan de zijden staan teksten op verhoogde delen met kwartronde uitsparingen op de hoeken. Hierop staat: Lucie Julie Jeannette van Dam van Isselt-Drabbe geb 13 aug. 1845 overl. 29 jan. 1900 / De liefde is sterker dan de dood / aan onze dierbare vrouw en moeder; al wat waarachtig is - al wat eerlijk is - al wat rechtvaardig is - al wat rein is - al wat liefelijk is - Philipp. IV.8 8-6-1940 / Jacoba van Dam van Isselt Rambonnet Kampen 3 feb. 1871 Des Gravenhage 5 juni 1940 / Jeanette Hermentine Drabbe-Luv geb. 15 juni 1813 overl. 14 apr. 1891. Op de piëdestal een rechte dekplaat en een klassiek geprofileerde zuilvoet. Roestsporen en een gat in het midden geven aan dat hierop hoogstwaarschijnlijk een ijzeren zuil heeft gestaan.
Waardering.
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de hervormde grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het grafmonument. The whole is executed in sandstone, the rectangular block has a base of 60 by 60 centimetres and a height of 88 centimetres. The bottom and top are profiled; on the sides are texts on raised areas with quarter-round indentations at the corners. On these are inscribed: Lucie Julie Jeannette van Dam van Isselt-Drabbe born 13 Aug. 1845 died 29 Jan. 1900 / Love is stronger than death / to our dear wife and mother; whatsoever things are true - whatsoever things are honest - whatsoever things are just - whatsoever things are pure - whatsoever things are lovely - Philipp. IV.8 8-6-1940 / Jacoba van Dam van Isselt Rambonnet Kampen 3 Feb. 1871 The Hague 5 June 1940 / Jeanette Hermentine Drabbe-Luv born 15 June 1813 died 14 Apr. 1891. On the pedestal a straight cover plate and a classically profiled column base. Rust stains and a hole in the middle indicate that an iron column has most likely stood there.
