GRAFTOMBE in Neoclassicistische stijl, bestemd voor de arts C. Revers uit 1910.
Omschrijving.
De hardstenen tombe heeft een aan alle zijden oplopende dekplaat met een totale breedte van 1.20 meter bij een lengte van 2.30 meter. Op de tombe staat een hardstenen obelisk waardoor de totale hoogte 3.05 meter wordt. Op de tombe is een wit marmeren plaquette aangebracht met de tekst: "C. Revers arts Bergen op Zoom 26-3-1862 4-8-1910 door zijne vrienden hem gewijd". De obelisk staat op een zich verjongende piëdestal met sierkepers. De obelisk zelf bezit aan de voorzijde een olijftak in reliëf, de top wordt aan de hoeken omrand door siervormen met horizontale sleuven.
Waardering.
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de hervormde grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het grafmonument. The sandstone tomb has an upward-sloping cover plate on all sides with a total width of 1.20 metres and a length of 2.30 metres. On the tomb stands a sandstone obelisk making the total height 3.05 metres. On the tomb is mounted a white marble plaque with the text: "C. Revers arts Bergen op Zoom 26-3-1862 4-8-1910 dedicated to him by his friends". The obelisk stands on a tapering pedestal with decorative beading. The obelisk itself has an olive branch in relief on the front; the top is framed at the corners by ornamental forms with horizontal grooves.
