Inleiding.
Klein Neo-Classicistisch GRAFMONUMENT uit 1835 onder meer bestemd voor Johan Drabbe junior en senior, mogelijk rond 1920 voorzien van een nieuwe bekroning.
Omschrijving.
Het geheel is uitgevoerd in hardsteen, het rechthoekige blok heeft een basis van 60 bij 60 centimeter en een hoogte van 95 centimeter. De onder- en bovenzijde zijn geprofileerd, aan de zijden staan teksten op verhoogde delen met kwartronde uitsparingen op de hoeken. Hierop staat: Johan Drabbe 3 dec. 1777 17 juni 1835 / Johan Drabbe geb. 10 febr. 1814 overl. 28 april 1885 / Henriëtta Lucie van Dam van Isselt-Drabbe geb. 29 nov. 1841 overl. 6 nov. 1890 / mijn vertrouwen van mijne jeugd .... (is onleesbaar) Op de piedestal een rechte dekplaat en een afgeronde kegel.
Waardering.
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de hervormde grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het grafmonument. The whole is executed in stone, the rectangular block has a base of 60 by 60 centimetres and a height of 95 centimetres. The bottom and top are profiled, on the sides there are texts on raised sections with quarter-round recesses at the corners. It reads: Johan Drabbe 3 Dec. 1777 17 June 1835 / Johan Drabbe born 10 Feb. 1814 died 28 April 1885 / Henriëtta Lucie van Dam van Isselt-Drabbe born 29 Nov. 1841 died 6 Nov. 1890 / my trust of my youth .... (is illegible) On the pedestal a straight cover plate and a rounded cone.
