Inleiding
De BRUG is gebouwd rond 1915 in opdracht van H. Oerlemans en H. Quirijns. Het afsluitende hekwerk dat vrijwel midden op de brug staat is een nieuw ijzeren hek in neorenaissance stijl.
Omschrijving
De brug overspant de smalle Hogevaart door middel van een gemetseld gecementeerd tongewelf. Het wegdek is vlak. De lage balustrade bestaat aan weerskanten uit bakstenen balusters. De bovenkant is afgewerkt met een hardstenen lijst.
Waardering
De brug is van algemeen belang. De brug heeft ensemblewaarde vanwege de situering, verbonden met de ontwikkeling van het dorp en vanwege de hoogwaardige kwaliteit van de bebouwing en de historisch-ruimtelijke relatie met wegen en wateren.

The bridge spans the narrow Hogevaart by means of a mortared masonry tunnel vault. The road surface is flat. The low balustrade consists on both sides of brick balusters. The top is finished with a sandstone moulding.

The bridge is of general importance. The bridge has ensemble value because of its setting, connected to the development of the village and because of the high-quality standard of the buildings and the historical-spatial relationship with roads and waterways.
