Inleiding.
Laatste GRAFMONUMENT aan de rechterkant voor de dwarsas. Het graf werd omstreeks 1876 opgericht en is uitgevoerd in een sobere vormgeving met elementen van Neoclassicisme en traditionele symbolen.
Omschrijving.
Het graf bestaat uit een rechthoekige voet met vier pijlers, ertussen hangt een grove ketting. De hellende tombe heeft een valk deksel met de inscriptie: "FRANCISCUS C. RATH/ * ASTENBERG 5-11-1823/ + VEGHEL 17-7-1901/ EN ZIJN ECHTGENOOTE FERDINANDA MULLER/ * ASTENBERG 16-3-1832/ + VEGHEL 23-10-1876". Achter op het deksel staat een opstand. Deze is voorzien van de tekst: "IN CRUCE VITA" en een reliëf van kruis, anker en brandend hart, tekens van geloof hoop en liefde. De opstand heeft aan de bovenzijde frontons en wordt bekroond door een door klimop omslingerd kruis. Kist en plateau zijn gemaakt van grijze hardsteen. Erop ligt witte steen.
Waardering.
Het graf is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als uitdrukking van een geestelijke ontwikkeling, namelijk de manifestatie van de katholieke graf- en devotiecultuur. Het heeft architectuurhistorische en kunsthistorische waarde wegens materiaalgebruik, ornamentiek en vormgeving. The grave consists of a rectangular base with four pilasters, between which hangs a coarse chain. The sloping tomb has a pitched lid with the inscription: "FRANCISCUS C. RATH/ * ASTENBERG 5-11-1823/ + VEGHEL 17-7-1901/ AND HIS WIFE FERDINANDA MULLER/ * ASTENBERG 16-3-1832/ + VEGHEL 23-10-1876". On the back of the lid is a backing. This is provided with the text: "IN CRUCE VITA" and a relief of cross, anchor and burning heart, signs of faith hope and love. The backing has pediments at the top and is crowned by a cross entwined with ivy. Casket and plateau are made of grey hardstone. Upon it lies white stone.
