The grave monument consists of a low rectangular sandstone base. Stone pillars are placed at its corners, with iron lion heads attached at the top. These serve to secure an iron chain. Against the sides a relief of a griffon. The rear wall of the coffin is provided with symbols of faith, hope and charity: in relief a cross, an anchor and a burning heart are depicted. The front of the coffin is provided with an anchor with ivy.
