Inleiding.
GRAFMONUMENT, gelegen na het middenpad, linksom in de cirkel, het vierde graf. Het graf vertoont kenmerken van Neoclassicisme Het graf werd aan het eind van de 19de eeuw opgericht voor de familie Scheij.
Omschrijving.
Groot, kapelvormig grafhuisje van de familie Scheij. Grotendeels uitgevoerd in hardsteen. Het graf staat op een rechthoekige voet, voorzien van vierkante hoekpijlers. Tussen de pijlers zijn kettingen aangebracht. Het grafhuisje zelf heeft een trapsgewijs kleiner wordende opstand. Tegen de wanden zijn Ionische pilasters geplaatst. Deze dragen een kroonlijst en het gebogen dak. De steen van het dak is van geschulpte imitatie leien voorzien. Op het dak staat een vierkante aedicula met frontons op hoekpilasters. Daarboven een kruis met daaromheen een gedrapeerde doek. Aan de voorzijde op het huis is de inscriptie: "BEGRAAFPLAATS/ FAMILIE/ SCHEIJ" aangebracht. Witte plaquettes op de opstand hebben het opschrift, aan de achterzijde: "DAT ZIJ RUSTEN IN VREDE" (andere opschriften zijn onleesbaar).
Waardering.
